The department of Environmental Protection, Taoyuan City has been conducted pollution investigation of five chlorinated ethene contaminated sites, including (1)south area of A Industrial Park, (2) monitoring well #3 area outside A Industrial Park, (3) D***ng Rd. CL02 area of B Industrial Park, (4) from CL08 area of B Industrial Park (near So***iang N. Rd.) to Taiwan P***matic Ltd. (near Son***ang S. Rd.), and (5)P***zhen District site. The main goals of these investigation aim to clarify the pollution scope; to identify the pollution sources and the polluter and/or potential polluter; to conduct risk assessment and preliminary pilot test of remediation plan for preventing continuous pollution spread; to investigate the adjacent area of each site on the usage and operation of groundwater and monitor the prohibiting activities in restricted area; and to propose remediation plans of each site for execute decision making.
